Great Houses of Ipswich 2018

The National Trust, through its Ipswich Branch and in partnership with the owners of three Great Houses, is very proud to help open the doors to just a few of the outstanding private heritage residences that might otherwise be appreciated by only a few.

Great Houses of Ipswich hopes to provide recognition and support for the great owners who care for these places and make them available to the public.

The National Trust, through the Great Houses of Ipswich project, hopes to widely promote Ipswich and its heritage, and strengthen the relationship Queenslanders have with their past.

The National Trust acknowledges the support of Ipswich City Council in presenting the Great Houses of Ipswich in 2018.

Discover the Great Houses of Ipswich September 2018

On 15 September 2018 three privately owned homes, including Fairy Knoll at 2a Robertson Road, Eastern Heights, Rockton at 2 Rockton Street, Newtown and Arrochar at 3 Waghorn Street, Woodend will open their doors to the public in this iconic, award-winning, National Trust of Australia (Queensland) event.
