Church Street Spring Festival

Welcome in the season at our inaugural Church Street Spring Festival with family fun over three weekends in October

Centred around the cultural hub of Grossmann & Brough Houses, and St Marys Anglican Church in historic Church Street, Maitland, a number of local community groups have come together to offer a unique festival of for those with a love of plants in their various forms, and a special exhibition in Brough House of the chic High Street of the 1950s with a floral theme.


Weekend 1: 12/13 October will feature roses with displays of all types of roses as well as information on hand. On the evening of Saturday 12 October join us for an elegant dinner at St Mary’s with a special guest speaker and silent auction. Bookings essential.

Weekend 2: 19/20 October will feature a marmalade competition, children’s party (1-3pm) and produce market.

Weekend 3: 26/27 October will be at St Mary’s, with vintage car displays, plant stalls, bell tower tour, and a decorated St Marys Church. Refreshments will be available for purchase.


  • National Trust members: $4.00 per day.
  • General public: $5.00 adult; concession $4.00; family $15.00; children free.
