Heritage Conversations: Birds of Peninsula Farm

Join us for birdwatching along the Swan River with a dash of history.

You are invited to join Mr Viv Read, Chair of Birdlife WA and Anne Brake, Senior Manager, Marketing and Community Services of the National Trust of Western Australia, as they talk all things birds in this beautiful part of the Swan River. Starting the morning on the verandah at Peninsula Farm, the presenters will give you a sense of the place before the Hardey family arrived in 1830, focusing on what birds you would have seen then and the birds that are still there today.

Armed with your new knowledge, join them for a bird walk through the area returning to Peninsula Farm for morning tea overlooking the picturesque Swan River.

Proudly in partnership with Birdlife Western Australia
