Autumn Resonance

The Artists of the Round Yard have taken inspiration from autumn for their latest exhibition, timed to coincide with the annual explosion of colour in the Retford Park garden.

Autumn themes have inspired this beautiful new Artists of the Round Yard exhibition, with a repertoire imbued with colourful warmth, texture, nature in flux and a touch of nostalgia.

This exhibition is about how the artists resonate with autumn – a wind-down season where we seek comfort and prepare ourselves for the changing of colour, temperature and time – and how art is inspired by the environment around us. The shortening of days, the bright colours and earthy tones, drinking warming drinks and getting out our scarfs.

The falling leaves create magic in the air. The aim of this exhibition is to invite the observer to resonate with the changing season outside in the Retford Park gardens and inside the White Cottage Gallery in the Retford Park Estate.

The Artists of the Round Yard include painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, multi-media and installation artists. All works will be for sale and support the work of the National Trust (NSW).
