Cooma Cottage
Located on Ngunnawal Country in Yass, NSW, this rural treasure is the home of Australian-born explorer, Hamilton Hume, who reportedly fell in love with the area during his explorations and set about creating a retreat with his wife, Elizabeth.
Visitors can walk through Hume’s original house and soak up the stories of pioneering life in the nineteenth century. See the stables where Hume kept his horses, then relax with a picnic in the cottage gardens for sweeping views of paddocks and the Yass valley.
