Australian Heritage Festival: Pirate Day at Polly Woodside

The first treasure hunt kicks off a variety of activities throughout the day. The children get to scrub the decks, swing on a rope, sing in the pirate choir or participate in fun pirate games. Children with loud voices & an ability to pull scary faces are encouraged to attend.

The schedule of activities for Pirate Day will include;
• 10am – 10.30am Storytime (0-6yrs)
• 10am -10.45am Tattoos and free roam
• 10.45am Abandon ship & Walk the Plank
• 11am Treasure Hunt
• 11.30am Pirate Games or Captain’s Quarters viewing
• 12pm Scrub the Decks & Rope Swing
• 12.45pm Abandon Ship & Tug-O-War
• 1pm Treasure Hunt
• 1.30pm Pirate Games or Captain’s Quarters viewing
• 1.30pm Pirate Choir
• 2pm Special guided tour of Polly Woodside
• 2.45pm Abandon Ship & “Don’t Wake the Sleepy Pirate!!”
• 3pm Treasure Hunt
