Fill your day with colour in the beautiful surrounds of The Heights, through pen & wash (watercolour) classes guided by local artist Faye Owen!
Come along to The Heights for a wonderful afternoon of painting in the surrounds of the heritage property and garden.
Local artist Faye Owen will explore the techniques of working with pen and wash along with teaching composition with a modern approach. Basic knowledge of composition and an impressionistic or modern approach will be used. Subjects will range from Still Life to Vistas including some of your own choosing during the 6 weeks.
Materials: There will be some free paper and painting materials available to start with although students may bring any water colour paints, black sketch pens and soft pastels they have. Suggestions for other materials will be discussed at the first class.
About the artist Faye Owen:
Born in Port Fairy, Victoria, Faye has had a lifelong interest in creative work. Her career has included teaching art, design and other aspects of the trade to floristry apprentices at Box Hill College of T.A.F.E for thirteen years. Faye’s work now spans a variety of mediums and subjects.
