Fill your day with pastels and colour in the beautiful surrounds of The Heights, through painting classes guided by local artist Faye Owen!
Come along to The Heights for a wonderful afternoon of painting in the surrounds of the heritage property and garden.
Local artist Faye Owen will explore the techniques of working with pen and wash along with teaching composition with a modern approach. Subjects will range from still life to some of your own choosing during the six weeks.
Please note that there will be free paper and necessary materials to use at the first class. You are welcome to bring along any watercolours you have. Suggestions for other materials and suitable sketch books will be discussed at the first class.
About the artist Faye Owen:
Born in Port Fairy, Victoria, Faye has had a lifelong interest in creative work. Her career has included teaching art, design and other aspects of the trade to floristry apprentices at Box Hill College of T.A.F.E for thirteen years. Faye’s work now spans a variety of mediums and subjects.
