You are invited to join us on Wednesday 26 October at Gallop House for a special talk from Anna Laverty, our 2022 Prelude Composer in Residence.
Anna Laverty is our 2022 Prelude Composer-in-Residence. Anna, a graduate of Edith Cowan University’s Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, is an award-winning producer with an impressive catalogue of releases across multiple genres. Her early career in London saw her working with the likes of Florence and The Machine, Bloc Party, Depeche Mode and Pete Doherty.
The residency is part of a program run by the Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers House Trust at three heritage buildings across Australia.
Join us to hear from the incredibly talented Anna, as she shares some stories and insights into her extensive program of co-writing while in residence.
The talk will take place at Gallop House, with refreshments to follow.
Doors open at 5.15 pm.
Parking is available on Birdwood Parade on the lawn to the right of the driveway, or at the carpark on Esplanade with a walk up the magnificent steps to Gallop House.
