How do I register to attend the AGM?

To register your attendance at the AGM at Como House & Garden, please RSVP by 5:00pm, Friday 17 November at rsvp@nattrust.com.au  or phone (03) 9656 9889 

How do I register an apology for the AGM? 

You register an apology with the office of the National Trust. To do this, please either email rsvp@nattrust.com.au or call (03) 9656 9800 and advise us of your apology. Your apology will be noted at the AGM. 

You must advise us of your apology by 11:00 am Thursday 17 November 2021

Will the Chairman and Board Directors be in attendance?

Yes, the Chairman and the Board will be in attendance. Directors invite you join them for light refreshments following the formal proceedings, with an Open House available to members following the meeting.

When will I receive the Notice of AGM?

The Notice of AGM will be posted with your National Trust Spring Magazine and should start to hit letterboxes around the middle of October.  

Will there be a virtual AGM this year?

There is no virtual element to the AGM for 2023. The AGM will be held in person only. Members can be assured that the event will be covid safe, and will be adherent to any appropriate government directives at the time.  

Members will be advised should any changes need to be made to the meeting location or date.  

How to a lodge my Proxy form?

This process is performed the same as previous years. Your proxy form and reply-paid envelope is attached to the Notice of AGM you received in the mail. 

If you intend to appoint a proxy, such as the Chairman, to be effective, you must return your proxy form no later than 11.00am on Thursday 23 November 2023 to the following address: National Trust of Australia (Victoria), 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002; or sign and scan the form and forward tomembership@nattrust.com.au. We encourage you to use the reply-paid envelope we have provided you, otherwise you can download the AGM pack with Proxy form here.

I didn’t receive and/or need a new proxy form.

Please note we will only officially record one proxy form from your membership number, please let us know if you have already sent one in, and/or if it has been filled out incorrectly. 

We are happy to send you a new electronic copy of the proxy form, which you are welcome to complete digitally and return via email to membership@nattrust.com.au, or print and return via post to: National Trust of Australia (Victoria), 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002. Please note, to be eligible, your proxy form must be returned to the Office of the National Trust of Australia Victoria by 11.00 am on Thursday 23 November 2023. 

Where do I send my proxy form?

Please complete your proxy form and return it either via mail to National Trust of Australia (Victoria), 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002, or via email to membership@nattrust.com.au by 11.00 am on Thursday 23 November 2023 

What time should I arrive on the day?

The property will be open from 10:00 am for Members to arrive. We ask that you please arrive with enough time to be seated ready for the meeting to formally commence at 11:00 am.  

Can I get a printed copy of the 2023 Annual report?

This year we are providing members with access to a digital copy of the Annual Report. This will be published on the NTAV website on Wednesday 1 November 2023.  A digital copy will also be emailed to you this same day. If you would like a hard copy, please contact our Membership Manager at Membership@nattrust.coma.u or (03) 9656 9800. 

Can I access Como House & Garden via public transport?

Is wheelchair access available?

The site will be accessible via either driveway on the day. There is wheelchair access to the ground floor of the Mansion.

Where can I park on the day?

There is adequate street parking surrounding Como and in the neighbouring streets.

Will House and Garden tours be available?

The house will be open from 12:30pm – 1:30pm to walk through, with volunteers and staff supervisors located around the house if needed.

Como gardens will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
