COMMUNITY AND REMEMBRANCE

The Year 3 curriculum provides opportunities for students to explore the historical features and diversity of their community as represented in the symbols and emblems of significance, and celebrations and commemorations, both locally and in other places around the world.  Through letters, postcards and photographs students visiting Woodbridge will have gain an insight into the experiences of a family that lost two sons at Gallipoli during World War 1. Comprehensive pre and post visit activity suggestions will further enhance and consolidate student learning.
