Community and remembrance

ANZAC Cottage provides students with a unique opportunity to visit the former home of a returned WWI solider.

The house is said to be built in one day as a monument to all ANZACs, this was achieved through the extraordinary passion of the local community who donated materials, skills and time to achieve this.

A visit to ANZAC Cottage combines aspects of commemoration, symbolism, community, continuity and change.
