Love & Dreaming features the Juliet Letters as performed by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet, with vocalists, multi-instrumentalist/actor Yoris Wilson and Max Fredericks guitarist/singer in the principal roles.

This concert also celebrates the premiere of an entirely new composition which truly represents the rich cultural heritage of the NT, a song sequence collaboration from Yolgnu songman Jason Guwanbal Gurruwiwi and composer Netanela Mizrahi.

The evening’s program is completed with two beautiful works by prominent Australian composers Anne Boyd and Peter Sculthorpe. Jon Tooby plays the amazing Sculthorpe solo cello work Threnody, and Claire Kilgariff and string quartet play the mysterious and haunting Alchera – Jugulba by Anne Boyd; a work about the extraordinary Olive Pink from Alice Springs.

Arafura Music Collective comprises prominent and respected Territory musicians who incorporate early music, classical, jazz, contemporary and intercultural collaborations into exciting and challenging performances.
