Writing a Historical Novel

Aspiring writers, come and hear from author Sasha Wasley about writing a historical novel. Dive into her processes of research, getting into voice, setting the scene and everyday life.

She will talk through her time as a Writer in Residence with the National Trust in 2020 and how this influenced her novel.

Sasha will treat guests to a short reading of her work, and you will be able to buy her recent novels.

When the session concludes, you can explore Woodbridge for free and discover what inspired her.

Registration is free but places are limited so book now.

This event is proudly supported by Lotterywest and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
