What Is That Funny Old Building In Kenley Park?

Come, visit one of Hornsby Shire’s oldest buildings, now the home of the Hornsby Shire Historical Society. See our displays showcasing the lifestyles of Hornsby residents during the 19th and 20th centuries. Go on to visit Pennant Hills Library and Hornsby Library to see our cabinets of curious.

Come and visit one of Hornsby Shire’s oldest buildings, now the home of the Hornsby Shire Historical Society.
How many reincarnations has it had? Where was it located in 1900? When was it moved to Kenley Park? What is inside the building now?
All these questions can be answered by members of the Hornsby Shire Historical Society on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May from 12 noon to 4pm and Thursday 21st April from 12.30 pm to 2.30pm.

While visiting our local libraries check out the Curious Objects display. Do you know what they are or what they do? Have you seen any before? Some were common objects and some have always been curious.
On display both at Pennant Hills Library 19th April to 31st May and Hornsby Library 16th May to 31st May.

The Museum is located in the grounds of Kenley Park. There is parking in Kenley Road.

Times:

The Museum has 3 Open Days. They are Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May from 12 noon to 4pm and Thursday 21st April from 12.30 to 2.30pm.
The Curious Objects Display Cabinet will be on display in Pennant Hills Library from 19th April to 31st May. Library Opening Hours Apply.
The Curious Objects Display Cabinet in Hornsby Library will be on display from 16th May to 31st May. Library Opening Hours Apply.
