Walking Tour of Rockley

Officially gazetted in 1851, Rockley is listed by the National Trust as an Historic Village. This guided walking tour commences with a short talk in Stevens Park followed by a gentle stroll around the village.

Officially gazetted in 1851, Rockley is listed by the National Trust as an Historic Village. This guided walking tour commences with a short talk in Stevens Park followed by a gentle stroll around the village. It includes visits into John Job Copeman’s first architectural commission, the
School of Arts Hall built in 1890 and into two Edward Gell churches built in 1867 and 1869. The tour concludes with light refreshments at the Rockley Mill and Stables Museum, formerly a steam operated Flour Mill built in 1862, after which you can view the three storey Museum
at leisure.

Bring a hat, water and walking shoes.
