Enjoy visiting Kilburnie Homestead and surrounds by night! By the glow of lanterns, candles and (of course) fairylights, we offer guided Tours of the house, gardens and graves. (Ghost sightings unlikely but not impossible!) Live music. Camp-oven dinner. Art & History exhibits.
“Twilight Tours” opens Kilburnie to the public during the evening of Sat 5th May from 4pm – 9pm. Visitors can arrive anytime from 4pm onwards and enjoy complimentary tea/coffee, live music, and a stroll around before twilight. Art and History exhibits include “The Campbell Clan at War”: memorabilia from WWI, WWII & Korea. Photography exhibit “History Refocussed” will also be on show. Guided tours begin approx 5:30pm and encompass the 134 year old homestead and surroundings, including the graves of John & Elizabeth Campbell & Walter Pasley. Pre-booked Camp-oven dinner (including nibbles & complimentary drink) available from 6:30pm. Live music by local musicians will be playing throughout the evening. The May evening could be chilly so make sure you bring a warm jacket and dress appropriately for an open-air function!
