The Parkerville Tavern is a 124 year old heritage listed tavern in Perth Hills. Through the Eyes of Alice is a 3 course dinner, performance and tour of the historical building, giving you a historical and dramatic account of the settlement of Parkerville and the colourful history of the Tavern.
Join Alice Ottey, original owner of The Parkerville Tavern (then The Railway Hotel) on a historical journey, as she sees the sights and sounds of the success of ‘her’ tavern, The Parkerville Tavern, leading patrons through a historical tour of this landmark, historically listed, pub in the Perth Hills. When Alice’s legacy began back in 1902, our beloved ‘Parky’ was the site of the Railway Hotel. Alice returns for one night only to tour the site of what once was her ramshackle house where she sold wine and beer from the cellar. Through Alice’s eyes, you will see her wonder at what is now a two-storey marvel, as you walk with her through the establishment and up onto the second storey balcony.
