The Lost Quays: Tall Ships and Tall Tales

Take a musical journey across the oceans with shanty band The Lost Quays, in their home port of Fremantle!

Learn about the extraordinary heritage of songs from the age of sail as The Lost Quays transport you from an intimate and atmospheric limestone setting in the WA Shipwrecks Museum to a world of hauling and heaving on deck, of storms and wrecks, and of weary souls with a wistful longing for home.

Shanties are traditional work songs, and you’ll hear a mix of them! Enjoy timeless classics such as The Wellerman, Nelson’s Blood and Leave Her Johnny—as well as their own original songs of the sea.

Known for their engaging stage presence, humour and strong harmonies, The Lost Quays promise a musical adventure you won’t soon forget… with some tall tales along the way!
