Prepare for a musical evening of the calm and the storm!

The Lost Quays return to their home port of Fremantle from their recent performances at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart. They are shipshape and ready to share in an enchanting evening of song, through stories from the days of the tall ships – along the coasts of Australia and beyond. You’ll be transported to a world of hauling and heaving, of whaling and pearling, of wrecks and rescues, and of weary souls with a wistful longing for home.

With their wondrous harmonies, you’ll be treated to a cappella melodies as well as their band of instruments. They’ll be bringing their trademark humour throughout the evening so get ready for a night of entertainment with a rich mix of shanties and sea songs, both traditional and original, and hear the seafaring history behind the songs.

Presented by The Lost Quays as part of the Australian Heritage Festival 2023.
