The Life Of The Harbour

Put on your walking shoes to explore the development of Fremantle Port.

Join us for a walking tour that considers Fremantle as the harbour has evolved over time.  From its origins as an important site for Nyoongar cultural gathering, through the colonial period of the long jetty, the harbour was conceived as part of the CY O’Connor development plan that deepened the river mouth.  So began the story that leads to the busy commercial harbour that we know as Fremantle Port today.
