The history and myths of Glebe and Watsons Bay

As a group we will explore historic houses, churches and parklands, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Sydney's picturesque skyline. Join us to unearth the forgotten stories of the most influential buildings in Sydney, and the amazing anecdotes of some of the city's past residents.

The tours take an hour each and the routes are as beautiful as they are interesting. We will be walking though time as the historically rich suburbs or Glebe and Watsons Bay are unearthed.

Glebe is a picturesque inner city suburb that boasts a rich mix of magnificent Edwardian townhouses and imposing Victorian mansions. The suburb was forged from a multitude of industry mixed with the frivolous activities of some of Sydney’s ultra rich.

Watsons Bay is a jaw-droppingly beautiful suburban peninsula on Sydney’s South Head. With breathtaking cliff faces on one side and stunning beaches on the other, the area is scattered with perfect colonial buildings and historic marine infrastructure.

Both of these tours offer experiences that history lovers or just keen urban explores will absolutely love, as we showcase hidden and mostly overlooked details that form the intriguing and unbelievable fabric of Sydney’s historic past.
