The First Farm School Program

Experience life as an early settler. Visit the house where the Spencer family lived in 1836; work as a garden hand in the vegetable patch and play old time children's games.

School groups are welcome to book a tour of the old farmhouse and grounds, then get their hands dirty helping the gardeners tend to the vegetable patch. Students also get the opportunity to play traditional games like spinning tops, knuckle bones, cup and ball, tossing horseshoes, marbles and more.

This is a free education program suitable for Years 1-6 at Old Farm, Strawberry Hill, the first government farm in WA.

Old Farm is a National Trust of Western Australia property.
