The Commissariat Tour

Join us to explore one of the earliest colonial buildings in Fremantle, which is now known as the WA Shipwrecks Museum.

Western’s Australia’s first convict-built public building, the Commissariat was extensively restored in 1979 to house the WA Museum’s maritime archaeology collection.

On this tour you will have a first-hand look at the building’s many unique and fascinating historical features.
