The Busselton Heritage Trail

Come to the launch and then explore a brand new self guided walk revealing the Busselton of yesterday!

Ken Jones, President of The Rotary Club of Busselton Geographe, is officially opening the Busselton Heritage Trail! After the launch, hit the pavement on this easy city walking trail, starting at Busselton’s brand new Visitors Centre where you can download the free app and buy a Trail guide book.

Along the way listen to sound bites of snippets of memories from Busselton’s long time residents at the selected sites. The guide book provides imagery via an old photo of the site and a short history of the building and its early occupants.

This fabulous new trail gives you an insight to old Busselton town, its early settlers and architecture. Wind your way through the city visiting nineteen sites finishing at the beautiful Busselton Historical Museum on the banks of the Vasse River.

The walk should take up to two hours (depending on how much time you spend at each site and breaks for a cuppa!).

The Busselton Heritage Trail project has been run in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Busselton Geographe, Busselton Historical Museum, Busselton Oral History Society and The City of Busselton.
