Teddy Bears’ Picnic Storybook reading
Join us at Rippon Lea with author, the National Trust's very own Matt Chester, as he reads from the sweetest teddy bear book going around; Elm & Willow's Adventures at Rippon Lea: Teddy Bears' Picnic.
Inspired by Rippon Lea’s iconic Teddy Bears’ Picnic event, this delightful story is illustrated by Melbourne local and friend of Rippon Lea, Joleen Jenkins. Elm and Willow are best bear friends. They set out one morning to explore the gardens of Rippon Lea – on the hunt for the Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Along the way they meet some helpful – and not so helpful – animal accomplices.
This is an outdoor event – please bring a seat or comfy cushion to sit on. Visitors are welcome to stay on after the story reading to explore for themselves the gardens of Rippon Lea Estate.
