Tea Cooper – Grossmann Lectures

Join Tea Cooper, well known author, and the Friends of Grossmann House, for a late afternoon talk and refreshments at the National Trust’s Brough House.

As the first speaker for the first Grossmann Lecture, Tea Cooper will talk about her writing process and novels, one of which The Girl in the Painting is based on areas of Maitland, Hill End and The Rocks of early Sydney. She is an award winning Australian writer of historical fiction. In a past life, she was a teacher, a journalist and a farmer. These days she haunts museums and indulges her passion for story telling.

Tea Cooper is an international bestselling author of several novels including The Naturalist’s Daughter, The Woman in the Green Dress, and The Cartographer’s Secret.
