TALKING TOMBSTONES #5 – TALK WITH MORNING TEA

An insatiable curiosity to find out what lies behind a name, a few words or an unusual tombstone results in the discovery of many intriguing stories 'from the grave'. Kerima-Gae Topp's powerpoint presentation will take you to cemeteries throughout NSW and finally to one in London.

The 5th in a series of very popular ‘Talking Tombstone’ stand-alone presentations.
You will hear about a ‘poison pill’ and a will that sparked a 13-year bitter court case, a hero but how many know of him, a much loved, generous, kilt-wearing, bagpipe-playing Chinese, a murder most foul and why heads were severed, a couple of bushrangers, a queen, two Australian firsts not welcomed by the receivers, a tombstone whose inscription makes one wonder at its true meaning and a well-known Australian buried in a rock.
As a finale Kerima-Gae will share with you a wonderful find when she was wandering the streets of London.
Morning tea is included.
