Tales of the Terrace: the changing face of Bay View Tce

Hear secret stories of the past and present Bay View Terrace shops on a short guided walk through the Claremont town centre.

A variety of speakers and shop owners will use the Freshwater Bay Museum’s oral histories to share these unheard tales. The walk will bring you back to Lemon Lane for morning tea (cost not included) and a chat!

This is not a strenuous walk and there will be rests at each talk point.

The event forms part of the History in a Coffee Cup series.

Parking can be found in many areas around Claremont Town Centre (eg under Bunnings, car park entrance off Leura Avenue). Alternatively, it is a very short walk from Claremont Train Station.
