Sydney Tramway Museum Open Days

Take a step back in time at the Sydney Tramway Museum; a great day out for the whole family. It is a unique attraction in the Sutherland Shire, and has been for over 50 years.

Tram-rides and museum display, plus souvenir shop, refreshments kiosk, picnic area.

Sat 20th April: 10am-4pm – extra operating day. Tram-rides and Museum open!

The Sydney Tramway Museum and the Sydney Bus Museum will be operating trams and buese across the weekend connecting Loftus Station and the Sydney Tramway Museum with other venues and attractions around the Shire.

The vintage bus will run on an hourly schedule, allowing passengers to hop on and off at your leisure. (A gold coin donation would be appreciated).

Plus, Heritage Festival Vintage Bus Run in Sutherland Area 10am-4pm linking Tramway Museum, Woronora Memorial Park (Cemetery), Brinsley’s Joinery, Sutherland Shire Museum at Sylvania Heights, Hazelhurst Gallery, Kirrawee Brick Pit (South Village).

Sun 21st April: Extra Heritage Festival displays, plus vintage bus run by Sydney Bus Museum to Sutherland and to the tram terminus in The Royal National Park (Admin Centre Car Park – top of the hill).
