Swan Valley Stories
Swan Valley Stories is a production that brings to life the joys, struggles, hardships and friendships through the early settlers' journals and letters.
Following Captain James Stirling’s visit to the Swan River in 1827, early settlers like Eliza Currie, Anne Whatley, Joseph Hardley and William Brockman shared their stories in journals and letters.
Swan Valley Stories brings these stories to life, as well as popular songs of the day including Irish lawyer George Fletcher Moore’s song, ‘Western Australia for Me’, first performed in the Government House Ballroom in 1831.
A morning or afternoon tea is included, provided by the Bindoon Bakehaus, as you enjoy this production performed in the historic stone barn of Enderslea Farm.
Free tastings of Bindoon Estate Wines will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.
