Streetscapes and stories: archival footage of Greater Dandenong

Come and view rarely seen archival footage showing what life was like in Greater Dandenong during the 1950s

As part of this year’s Australian Heritage Festival, we are encouraging our residents and visitors to get curious about heritage!

During April and May, visitors to Harmony Square and Springvale Community Hub can view archival footage showing what life was like in our area during the 1950s, including a celebration of Australia’s successful post-war migration scheme.

These short films will be shown on the big screens at Harmony Square and Springvale Community Hub at approximately 10am and 4pm daily.

We are grateful to the ACMI and the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) for their support of this event.
