Sharing Stitches

Stories in Stiches. Displays of old and new embroidery and textile art. Stitchers will show how it's done. Try out your own style.

Embroidery is an absorbing and addictive pastime for members of The Embroiderers Guild. There will be a display of traditional and contemporary Textile Arts which tell stories of past lives and new pieces that tell of our current obsessions and interests.

Not just for your Granny, see what is currently being stitched using unconventional materials and recycling, reusing and remaking.
Try it for yourself with our simple kits, or just watch our work taking shape.

The display will be available at the library for a few weeks, but our special event is just for one day. Drop in before or after you lunch or take coffee in vibrant Pako.
