Ripples Little Manly Historical Walking Tour & Lunch
Discover the intriguing history of Little Manly as you join Max Burns-McRuvie from Journey Walks on a historical walking tour, delving into the past and sharing stories that make our surroundings so special, before enjoying a delicious 2 course lunch with bread and snacks at Ripples Little Manly.
Meet your guide and group at Ripples Little Manly at 10am on Saturday 4th May and be taken on a 2 hour historical walking tour. Awaken the memories of Manly on a walking exploration filled with sights and stories by the sea. Our tour circuit from Little Manly Beach will rediscover why this extraordinary suburb once sold itself to the visiting masses as ‘Seven miles from Sydney, a thousand miles from care.’ Our journey will unpack local tales of first contact with Indigenous peoples, entrepreneurial convicts, abandoned industries, antique attractions, architectural icons, Q Station dramas, surfing, sharks, shipwrecks and the forgotten fanfare of “Fairyland” at Fairy Bower Beach.
After the tour, guests will return to Ripples Little Manly for an indulgent 2 course seaside lunch.
