Peninsula Farm – Giving children a voice

Bring the family and come and join in the fun. Take a tour. Play a game. Stitch a sampler. Come to an open day giving voices to children – those who lived in the house and those who visit today.

Be a child again at this drop in event. Join a tour exploring the house from a child’s point of view – where did they sleep? What did they play? What jobs did they have day to day? Take the chance to try your hand at traditional games and join in a variety of children’s activities.

Seeing through the eyes of a child gives you a new perspective on a place, and an historic house is no different. The Hardey Family raised 6 children (five girls and a boy) at Peninsula Farm which is one of the oldest remaining residences in the Perth metropolitan area.

This event is suited to both families and adults.

Cafe on site (phone 9272 8894 to make a cafe booking).
