Our Past is Our Future

Drive one hour north of Perth and visit the Historical Gingin Railway Station to view the heritage display, take a history walk and browse the local market stalls.

The station opens at 8:30 am for you to wander along the platform and through the renovated station and station masters quarters and learn about the foresight, hard work, life and times of our pioneers like explorer George Moore whom the Moore River is named after, the Brockman farming family and others who settled in the area. Collect a walk trail map and wander through town viewing the heritage buildings of beautiful Gingin.

Enjoy the last day of the Art exhibition by a talented West Australian artist. Browse the array of market stalls within the grounds till 1:00 pm where you will find something special and unique from local producers and creative sellers and rest up with a cuppa and a bite to eat at the Station Trackside Cafe.
