Our community objects: exploring 150 years of Local Government through objects and stories from the City of Greater Dandenong collection

Come and learn about some of the unique objects acquired by the City of Greater Dandenong and its predecessors.

This presentation is a rare opportunity for the community to engage with, learn about and appreciate some of the unique and interesting objects acquired by the Councils of the City of Springvale, Shire of Springvale and Noble Park, Shire of Dandenong, City of Dandenong, and City of Greater Dandenong followed by a delicious afternoon tea.

This event is held in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Optimism, Opportunities and Achievement: A reflection of the Centenary of Local Government in Dandenong in 1973’, on display at Heritage Hill, Dandenong from 29 March 2023 – 31 May 2023 .
