Osborne Park Geelong – Get Informed, Get Involved!

This event is an opportunity to ask questions, find answers, and offer your knowledge about Geelong's iconic heritage property Osborne Park. It will be worth your time to visit the information shelter over looking Corio Bay on the lawns of this outstanding picturesque place.

We’ll have information brochures promoting the fascinating history of the Osborne Park property.

This includes the pastoral era as a squatter’s mansion, a Premier’s Country Retreat, the headquarters of the Geelong Harbour Trust, Australia’s First Naval Training College, a Naval Hospital, Australia’s First Sub-Marine Base and Corio Shire Municipal Offices.

The links to Geelong’s early story of the wool industry and subsequent evolving history are clear.

You’ll have the opportunity to support the Osborne Park Association objectives to conserve the property for the benefit of local people and visitors to the region.
