Organ Recital & Collectables Stall

Be Inspired! Join us to enjoy an organ recital performed by talented organist, Raphael Elvish. Experience the atmosphere of the historic St Matthew's Church and be delighted by its beautiful setting in Guildford. After the recital, explore the collectable's stall in the Church Hall.

When you visit St Matthews, you see a special place built in 1873, situated in the parkland setting of Stirling Square in Guildford. Inside, the simple beauty of the interior of the building with its attractive stained glass windows sets the scene for the event. The organ recital will be played on an instrument built in 1911 by J.E. Dodd that was refurbished in the early 2000s.

Our guest organist, Raphael Elvish, will not only delight you with his talent but also provide information on the history of the organ.

Adjacent to St Matthew’s church is the Church Hall, built in 1906. In this attractive Victorian building, there will be a stall of collectables for sale along with preserves and jams celebrating the fruits of the Swan Valley.

There is no need to book ahead. Entry is by gold coin donation.
