Noongar language singing workshops with Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse

Ancient language, powerful storytelling, beautiful music. Join multi-award winning duo, Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse for a series of 4 Noongar language singing workshops.

In these vibrantly engaging and heart-warming singing sessions, Gina and Guy will teach participants songs from their catalogue and take audiences on a journey through the four principles of Koort (heart), Moort (family/community), Boodja (land) and Koorlangka (children/legacy). All workshops focus on the importance of keeping Noongar language and culture alive as well as learning original Noongar language songs. Expect to laugh, sing and learn!

Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse are multi award winners of the WA Music Industry (WAMI) Indigenous Act of the Year. They have brought their music to audiences across the world.

As this is a 4-part workshop series, we respectfully ask that you only sign up if you can make all 4 sessions, as places are limited.

This special Heritage Festival event is being held in association with the North Coast Community Arts Festival in the City of Wanneroo.
