National Archaeology Week 15-21 May 2022
Want to learn more about Australia's past, from more than 65,000 years ago to today? National Archaeology Week is hosting an exciting nationwide program of events. Come and meet real archaeologists, take part in archaeological digs and tours, and join special lectures and workshops – and much more!
National Archaeology Week provides the opportunity for people to learn about Australian archaeology and cultural heritage from 65,000 years ago to the present, and to connect with real archaeologists through a variety of events happening across Australia. Held in the third week of May each year, this exciting nationwide program of events and activities will include public digs, talks, exhibitions, walking tours, workshops and displays.
