Music, cards and comfort in the 1800s

Come to Macquarie Regional Library in Dubbo to enjoy a talk by Lyn Campbell about the social importance of the piano, the card table and the ottoman in the Dundullimal Homestead collection and their conservation.

Duration time is approximately 40 mins plus time for questions.

Afterwards why not jump in the car and head to Dundullimal Homestead, one of the biggest tourist attractions in the region, and explore Australia’s oldest surviving slab hut house, completed in 1842 (entrance fees apply).

Get a taste for rural life on an isolated property which was built as the head station of a 26,000 acre squatting run. Book your timed ticket here for Dundullimal.
