Managing Local Heritage – Applying the Burra Charter

Join us for a panel discussion on local heritage management and heritage policy management using the principles of the Burra Charter

The aim is to raise awareness of heritage management principles and the Burra Charter utilising local built form cases. The event is designed to improve community understanding of our local heritage and so is relevant to the theme of The Australian Heritage Festival – ‘Our Heritage, For the Future’.
A panel of professional experts, comprising of an Architect, a Town Planner, and a former Local Government Councillor, will discuss the principles of the Burra Charter in application to the conservation of local heritage.

Audience participation and general discussion will follow.
