Leschenault Lady steams again

WA's much-loved steam locomotive Leschenault Lady will be taking people for a short ride in our heritage carriages. See the workmanship of the traditional trades such as steam fitting, boilermaking, car and wagon building and more. See our blacksmiths in action and historic machinery.

124 years old and still steaming along – don’t miss your chance to have a ride behind the steam locomotive. All our community groups will be there showing off their work and collections – from the amazing model railways, vintage machinery restorers to the displays of local heritage.

Explore traditional trades and talk to those involved throughout this large site, and see a display of WA’s railway heritage.

It’s a great way to finish off the school holidays with some fun for all. You can bring a picnic or enjoy a sausage or morning tea from our picnic van.
