Lacemakers at the Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail

The Bathurst Trades Trail showcases rare and lost trades, and this year we will be featuring lacemakers who will be demonstrating lacemaking, will have wonderful examples of lace on display, and there will be a selection of lace on display from the Bathurst Historical Society's collection.

Lacemaking is intriguing – it looks so complicated but the ladies at the Trades Trail will make it look so easy! Come and have a look at them at work, see some of their pieces and maybe have a go. There will be demonstrations, displays and much more to look at!

The Lacemakers are only one of hundreds of artisans demonstrating at the Trades Trail – you can pat a sheep, then watch it’s wool being spun, you can watch the blacksmiths make a horseshoe, try some craft beer, and much much more! Come and enjoy a fabulous family day out in beautiful Bathurst!
