Koobabbie Precinct Coorow

Koobabbie Precinct is an insight into farming over the pass 100years with a collection of farm machinery and tools and 3 old building that have been moved into Koobabbie Precinct in the main street of Coorow from Koobabbie farm.

Koobabbie Precinct has been set up by Coorow Heritage group to preserve the history of Coorow farming over the last 100 years. It is a collection of vintage farm machinery and three old buildings that have been moved by the Heritage group from Koobabbie farm which has been in the Rudduck family for over 115 years. The precinct has a wide range of machinery and tools that would have been used for farming over the early years of farming on Koobabbie and other farms. The most impressive is the old steam engine that was used for cutting chaff. It gives you an insight to how farming was done over the years.

If you come in early spring, there is also the wildflower walk on the community owned farm with an assortment of wild orchids and everlastings.

So why not come to Coorow and stay at the beautiful hotel or caravan park and enjoy a few days in this lovely farming town just 3 hours north of Perth.
