Gruesome Yesteryear

Join us for a fun afternoon as we go back in time and learn some interesting facts from Yesteryear.

In this after school activity for ages 8-12 children will:

  • taste the most popular foods of the time – Bread and dripping and gruel
  • experience cleaning their teeth with charcoal powder
  • learn what a trip to the dentist would be like
  • hear why doctors thought thirsty leeches could cure all ailments
