Heritage Dress Up Day at Jarrahdale Heritage parkrun
Heritage Dress-up Day at Jarrahdale Heritage parkrun, is an opportunity to step back in time and be informed of Jarrahdale's History as we share stories of the Jarrahdale Mills, as you walk / run or volunteer on our 5K course through the trails of the Jarrahdale Heritage park.
Jarrahdale Heritage parkrun is a free 5k walk / run held every Saturday in the grounds of the National Trust of Western Australia’s Jarrahdale Heritage park.
For this, our Australian Heritage Festival event, we encourage our regular participants and visitors to dress up in vintage clothing from an era of their choice dating back to the founding days of Jarrahdale in the early part of the nineteenth century. The clothing choices themselves will promote a sharing of ideas and history, while our team of volunteers and the Jarrahdale Heritage Society provide an informative backdrop to the early life of Jarrahdale, WA’s first timber town.
The Heritage Museum will open early on the day to provide further information.
Please join us on Saturday 13 May at 7.45 am for a pre-event briefing.
Important note: If you plan on walking or running the course please register at parkrun.com.au prior to your arrival and bring a printed or downloaded copy of your personal barcode.
