Having A Voice at the Maritime Museum

Gain information about the many forms of communication that have been used over the centuries on board ships and between ships and the shore. Tackle challenging puzzles using signal flags and semaphore. Use a morse code key and a heliograph.

The theme of this year’s Heritage Festival is “Having A Voice” and Port Macquarie’s Maritme Museum is exhibiting the many forms of communication the have been used over the centuries on board ships and between and the shore. Bring your children to see and enjoy an informative display about sailing ships, semaphore, signal flags, heliographs, megaphones and bosun’s pipes. Challenging puzzles graded for both parents’ and childrens’ participation.
Special admission prices from 16th April till 30th April just $9 for a family of 4 and $4 for adults.
The Mid North Coast Maritime Museum is situated at 4-6 William Street Port Macquarie and is open every day from 10 am till 4 pm.
