This is a book for new residents and old, the double volume 530 page book sells for $70.00 the set. It is highly illustrated with many coloured photographs and maps. It has a 7 page list of contents and end notes for each chapter. It traces the development of this small suburb from patches of fertile farm land and sandstone outcrops, through its development from the 1920s to the 1950s into a fringe suburb of small single story free standing “fibro” and weatherboard houses to its redevelopment into a mainstream 3 story modern unit suburb.
