Offering two events focused on South Melbourne during the 1850 Victorian Gold Rush, which reshaped South Melbourne’s population and architecture. South Melbourne was the site for Canvas Town which provided temporary accommodation for the influx of immigrants heading the Victorian Gold Fileds.
